For this short unit we practiced following directions through a map to get to a destination. We also used a Minecraft Education city as a hands-on activity to create our own set of directions that each other had to follow and visa versa. Matthew and Lochlon learned the importance of following directions and how to correctly use a map to get to where we needed to go.
The rest of our Directional mapping has been done when we go out on through gaming, discussing directions on how to get from place to place and using verbal directions as we go.
